Our creations made from recycled wood crates, natural stones, and resin

Welcome to our world where wooden crates are transformed into unique and magical creations. We decided to combine laser engraving, recycled wood, resin, and natural stones to bring these unique creations to life. We chose to recycle these wooden crates to give them a second life.

We therefore use recycled wood from crates that we collect from various stores. Each type of wood is different and unique depending on the type of crate, from softer to harder, lighter to darker; this makes our creations even more unique and unusual. Once the crates are collected, we carefully disassemble them to preserve the quality of the wood. Then, we sand them to obtain a smooth, pleasant-to-the-touch surface. The cutting is carried out with precision, and that's when the magic begins: we engrave patterns and designs using our laser engraver, transforming each piece of wood into a unique creation.

In addition to crates, we also use pallet wood for some of our creations, including some of our incense holders. Pallets, often discarded, are another source of materials we upcycle. We salvage them, cut them, and sand them using a Dremel, a tool that allows us to shape the wood to our liking. Once the wood is prepared, we bring it to life with acrylic paint and varnish, adding a finish that highlights the material's natural beauty. Laser engraving then enhances the finish, bringing a unique and personal touch to each piece.

Why the wood ?

We love the texture of wood, its scent, its energy, and its natural, authentic feel. It's a material that has always attracted us and allows for endless creativity. Wood allows us to create one-of-a-kind designs and decorations, and to personalize them. We see recycled crate and pallet wood as alternative and unique materials. It's also a way of giving new life to what was destined to be destroyed. Rebuilding and recreating from this wood that we're going to leave behind.

We believe that wood has its own energy, derived from our forests, from trees, from nature, from life itself. We see it as a kind of sacred material offered by nature and all too often exploited by humans for destructive purposes. For us, wood embodies the spirit of the forest and the power of nature. This is why we want to rebuild with this wood that has, in a way, been torn from nature. Each piece of wood is thus saved from destruction and enhanced.

Why natural stone crystals ?

We chose natural stones because it's something we've been drawn to for a while and we wanted to expand our knowledge on the subject. The power of natural stones is surely a matter of belief, and we indeed believe in the various virtues of natural stones, which we find quite magical; That's why we decided to add them to our wooden creations, making them authentic and magical.

What we particularly love is combining these natural stones with recycled wood and resin. This combination creates magical and unique pieces. The resin, which we use with care, allows us to encapsulate natural elements, create transparent effects, and add an extra dimension to our wooden creations. Each piece is resinated by us with a non-toxic resin.

We are proud to say that each wooden creation is unique. No two pieces are identical, as each piece of wood has its own characteristics, knots, grain, and imperfections. The arrangement of the natural stones in the resin will never be identical from one creation to the next. Each engraving intensity is also different depending on the creation and the type of wood.

Our workshop is a place of creativity where we love to experiment with new techniques and designs. We love exploring the possibilities offered by laser engraving, which we see as a truly creative tool, woodworking, and the use of resin.

We invite you to discover our recycled wood creations and let yourself be captivated by the magic of natural stones and our designs. Whether you're looking for wooden decorations, a unique gift, or simply a piece of wooden jewelry, we're confident you'll find something special with us.

Why do we use non-toxic or food-grade resin ?

At Blacksoulcreations, we are committed to creating unique and magical recycled wood pieces. That's why we use non-toxic resin for our creations, as well as food-grade resin. These choices not only ensure the safety of our customers, but also the durability of our wooden creations. It's important to note that the drying times for these resins, which dry in the open air, are longer than with other types of resins. However, this patience is rewarded with a final result that enhances the beauty of the wood and natural stones.

Resin is used to enhance our wooden decorations and wooden jewelry, often adorned with natural stones. This combination brings a touch of magic and brilliance to each piece, transforming simple elements into true works of art. The transparency and shine of the resin highlight the wood's tones, creating a harmonious contrast that draws the eye.

In addition to its aesthetic appeal, resin plays a crucial role in the strength of our wooden creations. It allows us to reinforce our recycled wood pieces, making them more durable and long-lasting. This strength is essential to ensure our creations can be enjoyed for many years to come.

Resin is a material that pairs perfectly with wood, and its use in our creations is a thoughtful choice. It not only enhances the natural hues of recycled wood, but also provides protection against daily wear and tear.
